BOST Energies Head Office
About This Event
The 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Bulk Energy Storage and Transportation Company (BOST), now rebranded as BOST Energies, marked a pivotal moment in the company’s evolution. Held at its Head Office in Accra, the AGM brought together key stakeholders from Ghana’s energy sector, including the Minister for Energy and Green Transition, the Director-General of SIGA, and executives from the National Petroleum Authority and Ministry of Finance.
The event celebrated BOST’s transformation into BOST Energies, aligning with Ghana’s National Energy Transition Framework. The rebrand signifies a strategic shift toward sustainability, innovation, and operational efficiency, while maintaining its core mandate of safeguarding Ghana’s strategic petroleum reserves.
Keynote speaker Hon. John Jinapor, Minister for Energy and Green Transition, commended the leadership for their progress and urged deeper integration of green energy solutions. SIGA emphasized the need for profitability, accountability, and value creation for the Ghanaian people. The Board reaffirmed its commitment to infrastructure rehabilitation, digitalisation, and governance reforms.
The AGM also adopted the 2024 audited financial statements and reviewed the company’s performance contract, setting ambitious targets for 2025. With a renewed identity and a clear vision, BOST Energies is poised to lead Ghana’s energy sector into a cleaner, more resilient future.
