Established under PNDC Law 219, BOST (Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited) was created to secure Ghana's petroleum logistics.

Core mandate:

Maintain national strategic petroleum reserves
Ensure safe and efficient fuel storage and transportation
Provide energy access to underserved and landlocked areas

Building the Backbone

BOST expanded Ghana's energy logistics network to become the infrastructure foundation for national energy security.

Infrastructure developed:

Built depots in Tema, Buipe, Bolgatanga, Akosombo, and Kumasi
Developed pipelines (Tema–Akosombo) and barge transport on the Volta Lake
Enabled fuel access across remote regions of the country
