Salifu Nat Acheampong takes over as new Deputy Managing Director of BOSTenergies
On February 16, 2026, BOST Energies Limited welcomed Mr. Salifu Nat Acheampong as Deputy Managing Director, succeeding Ms. Adwoa Serwaa Bondzie, who was appointed Executive Secretary of the Ghana Energy Commission.

BOST Energies Limited Company (BOSTenergies), a leading player in Ghana’s energy sector, held a send-off ceremony for its outgoing Deputy Managing Director (DMD), Ms. Adwoa Serwaa Bondzie, and welcomed Mr. Salifu Nat Acheampong as the incoming DMD on Monday, 16th February 2026 in Accra.
The ceremony followed the appointment of Ms. Bondzie by President John Dramani Mahama as the new Executive Secretary of the Ghana Energy Commission and the subsequent elevation of Mr. Salifu Nat Acheampong, a long-term staff of BOSTenergies as her successor.
The ceremony brought together the company’s management team and staff to bid farewell to Ms. Bondzie and wish her well in her new role at the Energy Commission of Ghana.
Ms. Bondzie has been an integral part of BOSTenergies, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and success.
The Managing Director of BOSTenergies, Mr. Afetsi Awoonor, in his remarks, commended Ms. Bondzie for her supportive roles in championing an organisational culture rooted in discipline, excellence, welfare and teamwork during her tenure as DMD.
Mr. Awoonor described her exit as a bittersweet one, first as a great loss to BOSTenergies and a big gain for the power sector she is set to lead.
In her farewell speech, Ms. Bondzie expressed gratitude to the management and staff of BOSTenergies for their support during her tenure.
She emphasised her commitment to seeing the company continue to excel in the energy sector, describing BOSTenergies as her home.
The new DMD, Mr. Salifu Nat Acheampong expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for appointing him to the role of Deputy Managing Director and pledged his unflinching commitment and support to the Managing Director, vowing to collaborate with him and the team to drive the company’s vision forward.
Nat is a distinguished resource person, problem solver and creative leader. His career journey includes serving as Manager, Corporate Communications & External Affairs at BOSTenergies since February 2013, where he has led strategic communications initiatives, stakeholder engagement, brand management, and media relations.
Until his appointment as the Deputy Managing Director of BOSTenergies, he served as the Executive Technical Liaison of the company, where he advised the Managing Director.
He has a Master of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, post-graduate diploma in Diplomacy from the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom including an Executive Graduate Certificate in Managing Energy Transition from the University of Texas, USA, demonstrating his commitment to continuous professional development.
